Reliable execution, but the app UI feels dated
I trade mostly around London/NY overlap from Dubai, and overall my experience with SBI SEC has been steady. Order placement and execution have been consistent for the products I use, and I haven’t had any scary surprises like random requotes during normal conditions. Depositing was straightforward on my side and the funds reflected within the expected timeframe. Withdrawals also worked, but the processing felt a bit slower than I’m used to with other brokers—I had to plan ahead if I needed the money back in my bank. My main complaint (not a deal-breaker) is the platform/app experience. The interface feels old-school and it takes extra taps to find account details, statements, and margin info. Support was polite and helpful when I asked about reports and confirmations, but I did wait a while for a response during a busy market day. Overall: solid and dependable, just not the slickest UX.
