Support at Hycm answered my KYC questions within a few hours. The onboarding process was straightforward for a standard account from Chennai.

I’m Ahmed from Abu Dhabi and I’ve been using HYCM mainly for EUR/USD and gold on a Standard account. Once the account was active, the platform felt stable and execution was consistent during normal market hours. Spreads were generally in line with what I expected for Standard, and I like that the costs are easy to understand without hunting through menus. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the onboarding/KYC stage—it wasn’t difficult, but it took longer than I expected and I had to re-upload one document because the image was considered unclear. After that, deposits worked smoothly and withdrawals arrived, just not always as fast as the “best case” timelines. Support was polite and followed up, although the first response sometimes felt a bit template-based before a human actually addressed my specific question. Overall, a reliable broker for my style, with room to improve the initial setup and response speed.

Overall the platform experience has been stable for me—orders generally go through quickly and I haven’t noticed weird re-quotes during normal market hours. Account opening was straightforward, but the verification/onboarding took longer than I expected and I had to re-upload one document due to a formatting issue. After that, things improved. Deposits have been smooth using my usual card/online method and the funds showed up without hassle. Withdrawals worked, but one payout took an extra business day compared to what I anticipated, which is why I’m not giving a full score there. Support was polite and got back to me with clear steps when I asked about the delay. Not perfect, but for day-to-day trading it has been reliable enough that I’m still using it.

My only real downside is that withdrawals feel a bit slow compared to some other apps I’ve tried—nothing alarming, just not “same day” in my case. Support was polite and answered my questions about margin requirements and swap rates without pushing me to upgrade. Overall I’d keep this account for normal trading, but I’d love to see quicker payout processing and more proactive status updates during withdrawals.

I also noticed spreads widen more than I expected around major news releases, so I avoid placing new trades during those minutes. Deposits were smooth for me and credited without hassle. Withdrawals worked, but the processing time was not always the same—one request was quick and another took longer than I anticipated. Support was polite and answered my questions clearly, though I did have to wait for a follow-up once. Net-net: I’m comfortable continuing with them, just wish the dashboard was more modern and withdrawal timing was a bit more predictable.
