The signup and KYC steps were straightforward and I was able to start trading quickly without hunting around the platform. The UI feels clean and stable, and basic order placement is easy. Where I think they can improve is the fee/spread visibility before I confirm a trade—sometimes I had to click around to understand the full cost. Deposits have been smooth for me so far. Withdrawals worked, but one of my withdrawals took longer than I expected (not stuck, just slower than the deposit side), so I’m not giving a perfect score there. Support replied politely when I asked about processing times, but the answer was a bit generic. Account setup was quick and the app UI feels modern and easy to navigate. Deposits from my side went through without drama and I like that the platform doesn’t feel overloaded with buttons. For actual forex trading, it’s been mostly smooth for my basic EUR/USD and GBP/USD trades, but I do feel the toolset is a bit lighter than what I’m used to on more “pro” platforms (for example, fewer advanced order options and less detailed chart customization). Spreads are generally okay for swing trades, but if you’re scalping you’ll probably notice the difference. Support answered my query about account verification within the same day, which I appreciated. Withdrawals worked, but one time it took longer than I expected (still received it, just not as fast as I wanted). Overall it’s a good choice if you want a straightforward experience, but I wouldn’t call it a hardcore FX setup.

Withdrawal took too long and support didn’t clarify

Rohit Sharma, New Delhi. Used Baraka Standard account for about 4 months. Deposits through bank transfer (ICICI) were smooth and credited within a few hours. Trading EUR/USD and GBP/JPY was okay, spreads acceptable most of the time. The issue started when I requested a withdrawal of around INR 45,000. It stayed “processing” for nearly a week (5 business days). I contacted support twice and got vague replies without any solid timeline. The money did come eventually, but I shouldn’t have to chase so much for a simple withdrawal. If they fix payout speed and communication, it could be better. Right now I can’t rate it higher than 2 stars.
